Blue Mountains, Ontario

Georgian Valley Farmhouse

A romantic country farmhouse of murals, dusty rose and soft blue.

Set against the rolling hills of the Blue Mountains, this timber-framed retreat pairs the raw architecture of a modern barn — soaring oak ceilings, exposed trusses and a monumental stone hearth — with interiors that feel softly collected rather than decorated. Linen-toned sectionals and block-printed textiles play against natural stone in the great room, while a jewel-like lounge wrapped in a hand-painted scenic mural and dusty-rose lacquer offers an intimate, romantic counterpoint. The result is a home at once rugged and refined.

181 Crescent Road

A 1902 century home, completely reimagined.

A landmark Rosedale residence designed by architects Gordon & Helliwell in 1902, taken down to the studs and rebuilt over four years — walls opened, the lower level dropped, heated marble floors laid, and grand custom doors hung throughout. At its heart, a marble-and-brass kitchen, set against wallpapers imported from France and England. A true before-and-after: century-home character married to modern grandeur. A spirited family home where saturated colour and pattern meet timeless architecture.

A spirited family home that proves traditional rooms need not be quiet ones. Saturated colour and layered pattern carry through every space — a verdant green dining room, a jewel-box raspberry library lined with books and art, a graphic checkerboard entry — each grounded by classic architecture and a collector's eye. Bold yet entirely liveable, it is Colette's signature: a fresh, fearless take on the traditional home.

A dramatic Forest Hill residence in deep, lacquered blue.

A dramatic Forest Hill residence drenched in deep, lacquered blue. A checkerboard entry opens to an art-filled sitting room where gilt frames, citrine velvet and considered antiques play against moody panelled walls. Confident and glamorous, the rooms use colour as architecture — richness held in check by restraint.

A serene primary bath grounded in warm walnut, honed marble and soft sage.

A serene primary bath conceived as a private spa. Warm walnut cabinetry and honed marble are grounded by a soft sage door and abundant natural light, while glass enclosures and clean fittings keep the room calm and uncluttered. Classic materials, quietly modern lines.

An intimate study and bedroom composed in deep greens and plum. Built-in shelving, a patterned ottoman and tailored upholstery create rooms made for retreat — moody, collected and built for long, quiet evenings in.

A calm, light-filled marble bath suite.

A light-filled marble bath suite where book-matched stone takes centre stage. A sculptural freestanding tub, polished fittings and a restrained palette let the material do the talking — understated luxury, beautifully composed.
